How do I figure out how much product I will need?
You need to measure the length, width and depth. Then calculate the following formula:
Length x Width x Depth = ____ you then divide that number by 27 and that gives you the cubic yards you need.

How much does a cubic yard cover?
A cubic yard will cover a 10x10 area approx. 2 ½ deep, 100sqft.

Is a sod lawn less work?

Yes, a professional sod lawn needs no special care because it is a healthy mature lawn when installed, whereas a sprigged or seeded lawn requires years of nurturing to reach maturity. Sod is grown under expert supervision from either top quality blends or certified hybrid sprigs. After it has been installed, just water, mow and fertilize your sod lawn as needed and it will remain a healthy, green carpet of grass, requiring very little maintenance.

How often should I water my shrubs?
Water is the key to insuring establishment the first year. By the second year, all plants should be established enough to acclimate to naturally provided water, except during extremes. FREQUENTLY SUPPLEMENT WATERING THE FIRST YEAR TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT! Don't forget to follow this regiment in the Winter also, as most Winter injury is actually the result of drought before severe cold. Water slowly to ensure soil penetration. This is called 'deep watering'. If using an automatic irrigation system, monitor conditions regularly and make adjustments according to specific areas and the season. Not all areas will need the same amount of water. Be aware of soggy areas and try to correct precipitation amounts, as root-rot may become an issue.
